AmmoCamo is a hunting lifestyle apparel company that offers a unique twist on the traditional camouflage patterns with which most outdoor enthusiasts and firearm owners are familiar. The company’s owner, Skip Leleux, utilizes “loaded patterns” of ammo to create interesting camouflage designs that are effective, and meaningful.

Two weeks before his graduation from the Academy of Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, Leleux’s brother was killed in a hunting accident. Although guns were not involved in the incident, Leleux struggled for a way to honor his brother’s memory. The result was AmmoCamo.

“I come from three generations of responsible gun owners,” said Leleux. “My brother and I shared our love of guns and hunting and we both were committed to promoting gun safety. Growing up, I can’t tell you how many times we heard ‘treat every firearm as loaded’. It was a principle we lived by.”

Inspired by his brother’s life and his family’s deep affinity for responsible gun ownership, the core mission of AmmoCamo emerged - great apparel that makes an important statement about gun safety. First, the “loaded” ammo patterns deliver effective camouflage cover that is interesting and fun to wear. And more importantly, the patterns reinforce and promote the number one rule in firearm safety - treat all firearms as loaded.

While camouflage patterns are used in mostly hunting environments, the AmmoCamo brand is not just for hunters. Wearing AmmoCamo provides an opportunity for every firearm owner in America to promote and support his or her right to bear arms while making a strong statement about the responsibility of adhering to gun safety.
